Halloween at the Nancy Ann!

On Saturday October 14th, Spiderman, a Prince, 3 Princesses, a bride, 2 cowboys, a mermaid and a bumble-bee brought Holiday Cheer to the Nancy Ann Nursing Home! Children experienced riding in a wheelchair, stories where shared and Halloween treats enjoyed.
Thanks so much to all who participated...

Max and Clara loved showing off their costumes for the residents and the wheelchair ride was spectacular.

"Ariel" liked the wheelchair ride, too. It certainly made it seem less scary to see what it was all about. I couldn't get over how pleased the resident's were to have us there. I guess they had really been looking forward to our little parade. I'm sure it brought back many memories for them on what they used to do and dress up as when they were children. It was a nice feeling to add a little sunshine to their day!

Another smashing success. The kids loved dressing up and handing out decorations to the "grandparent" residents. Great fall fun!

Though shy around those they don't know, the girls told everyone about what they did. Hope they will feel more comfortable in the future. Good experience for them.
